yaa ive had it tested he said my thyroid is normal i dont have the numbers with me
Hi,
not easy to answer why, but usually goiter occurs when your thyroid is being stimulated to produce more hormones, but is not able to. Or when antibodies are attacking the thyroid causing it to enlarge.
Have your had thyroid levels tested? TSH, FT3, FT4 and antibodies?
If not, that's the place to start. If you have been tested, please post results so we can give better feedback.
