Is that the only test your doctor is running on a regular basis?  Do you have the results of FREE T3 and FREE T4 as well?

Are you still taking 75 mcg of levo?

Please list your symptoms.

After RAI, it can take time for your thyroid hormones to balance out again.  RAI takes time to kill off the thyroid.  As the thyroid dies, hormones keep getting dumped into the bloodstream.

"whats the usual for balance after RAI?."  Do you mean what your dose should be?  It varies person to person.  Some of us are comfortable on not much more than that as total replacement, others take twice that much.  We all have to find out where we feel best.

Thyroid hormones can control your emotions...just be aware that you WILL level out, and this isn't forever.

Do you have recent labs to post (pleae include referene ranges)?  We can take a look and see how you seem to be doing.
