hashimotos and sheehan syndrome

Hello All

I saw the endocrinologist and she confirmed Euthyroid Hashimoto's...which she does not prescribe medication for. A little frustrating only because my one physician said Synthroid would fix everything. The Endo said my issues sounded more like a complication from when I delivered my second child, Sheehan Syndrome. I had an ACTH test performed on Monday:

baseline was 31.2 ug/dl
30 min post 38.9 ug/dl
60 min post 44.5 ug/dl

My google search ;) said my results should at least double by 60 minutes and mine did not...
It is, of course, the weekend. I emailed my provider asking for their interpretation. I'm incredibly curious. I come from a medical background and this all is extremely interesting to me. I wonder how many folks, post delivery of their children, have hemorrhaged and/or had a low BP for more than 10 minutes(due to the epidural administration) like I did?

Has anyone else been diagnosed with Sheehan's in this group, or had their Endocrinologist test for this syndrome when you were evaluated?

Interesting about Sheehans, never heard of it. I had a weird delivery, the cord detached from the placenta and I bled quite a bit before it was passed. Nothing needing a transfusion though. My son had a bad case of jaundice because I did not produce milk fast enough and he was very dehydrated. Six months postpartum I was diagnosed hypo with a TSH of 143 and Free T4 of 0.3, how bad of bleeding does one need for Sheehans? I should ask my dr about this! Sorry for not helping with your question but I hope it's as rare as it sounds.
