Hi .. from what I understand too hyperHyper-sal or too hypo can cause that type of palp but you must talk to your dr and let him know; you cannot mess around with palps ever as a TSHPituitary and tsh Tsh that is not good for you can land you in the ER with a thyroid storm and that is life threatening oftentimes
I get the palps and wasnt ever told that this could turn into thyroid storming. When you say TSHPituitary and tsh Tsh... what numbers are we talking about?? I was told palps are normalNormal saline flush..
Palps can also happen with medication change and dosage changes....if you continue to have palps for a couple weeks or more I would call the docs office. You can also get them if you are still in the hypo range too. :)
