what is the highest dose of meds a person has experienced?
I am on thyrolar-3 and an additional 12.5mcg of cytomel. this is the equivalent of 350mcg of synthroid. when I was on the equivalent of 300mcg synthroid (take thyrolar 3 whihch is 150mcg T$ and 37,5mcgT3) my TSHPituitary and tsh Tsh was still 4.0. however my free T4T4 test was normalNormal saline flush, I think there is something else at play here....wilsons syndrome (reverse T3 production) or an adrenal problem.
the nearest endocrinologist is 2 hours away. I spoke with him on the phone and he basically said he would just keep adding T3/T4 until TSH dropped.
And I am a 33 y/o male with no other health problems....that I know of.....
