help how much is enough?

what is the highest dose of meds a person has experienced?

I am on thyrolar-3 and an additional 12.5mcg of cytomel. this is the equivalent of 350mcg of synthroid. when I was on the equivalent of 300mcg synthroid  (take thyrolar 3 whihch is 150mcg T$ and 37,5mcgT3) my TSH  was still 4.0. however my free T4 was normal, I think there is something else at play here....wilsons syndrome (reverse T3 production) or an adrenal problem.

thoughts?

Are you being treated by an endocrinologist?  What is your diagnosis?  Have you antibodies been checked?

I have diagnosed hashimotos- with TPO being well over a thousand (<30 for the norm).

the nearest endocrinologist is 2 hours away. I spoke with him on the phone and he basically said he would just keep adding T3/T4 until TSH dropped.

And I am a 33 y/o male with no other health problems....that I know of.....
