I cant give much info on the meds either, but I have the same problem and every time I try to get myself on the treadmill for some exercise I am too fatigued. I have been on Levothyroxine 75 for some time now and the only diffrence I feel is a bit more energy, I am not falling asleep during the day as much as I used to but for the weight gain it has not helped.

It's important to know your test results. Doctors do not alway try to find the perfect level of hormones for YOUR body.

There is a big difference between normal test results and optimal hormone levels.

You need to help the doctor manage your disease by educating yourself and keeping track of your test results. Tests should be run every six weeks at first, until your levels are correct, and then every three months to track them.

Symptoms and damage to the body also take some time to dissipate after your hormone levels are correct. How long that takes depends on how long your levels were bad, and how bad they were. It varies for each person. So it may take you six months to feel better.

Weight is a difficult problem. You should stop gaining weight after your hormone levels are correct, but you will not neccesarily lose weight without a lot of effort.
