5 years ago I had my thyroid killed off and am currently taking synthroid, I have gained more that 60 lbs during this time. I eat right, walk at least 5 days a week and am still gaining. My tests are always showing either a need to increase or decrease the amount of medicine needed to level me off. I am tired of not being myself and am afraid that if this cycle continues I will be 600 lbs by the time I die. What am I to do??? Everytime I bring this up to my doctor he tells me not to worry. I am even on Blood PressurePressure ulcer meds ( which I'm sure stemsStem cell research from the unhealthy weight). HELP!!!
