high TSH levels

My question is my TSH levels are 7.27 (range) 0.30-6.00 and my
T4 was 6.9  (range) 4.5-12.5  the doctor told me that i was okay
and i did not need meds but i have all the symptoms like being cold
can't loose weight lightheaded and constipation. can you please tell
if i should seek another doctor.

The reference ranges that the lab you ran your test is way off  Where did they get 6.0?? - the updated AACE range that everyone should be on is .3 - 3.0.  In the post that level maxium was 5.5. tops!!

You are hypothyroid. Even at the references ranges you have and your blood test proves you at least at a  "sub clinical" state and would require thyroid meds. Are you on any?

I think I would call the doctor and tell them you did some checking and you feel you ARE hypothyroid - if there do nothing - seek other care.

Your symptoms are classic for your condition.
