high TSH

can TSH level of 41.7 & FT4 .6 cause emotional ups and downs?  I'm 57 post menopausal  for 3 years. have had hypothyroidism  since 1994, had first child at 39 in 1989

Oh yes! Many of us have had high TSH levels during what we call hypo-hell (for cancer treatment) and I can tell you it will send you into a DEEP depression.  Do you have a good endo?
