high reverse t3

by Liz118, Mar 19, 2009 06:13PM
Hello
I have been having some problems with thyroid resistance type symptoms. I got my latest labs
back (from Quest) and my Reverse T3 is 32 (r 11-32 ng/dl)
Is this considered high enough to cause problems?
Thanks

It's at the high end of the normal range ........ so I would say yes. If it's right in the mid range or right above the mid rang, then I wouldn't worry about it. You're looking at the borderline point. I would ask for treatment.
