With a TSH 5.2 and normal t3 and t4 you don't need to be worry, you have subclinical hypothyroidism, you just need to take the levothyroxine and your thyroid levels should be carefully monitored during pregnancy . Most clinicians like to keep women who are pregnant and on replacement in the "hyper" end of the normal range (TSH of <2.0), but many clinicians prefer TSH in the <1.0 range. Until the end of the first trimester, the baby is entirely dependent on the mother for thyroid hormone.
