high tsh

by lesa1001, Apr 09, 2009 09:08AM
My tsh levels are very low .002.  I am being treated with armour thyroid and still feel terrible.  I went to one doctor and she told me I was hyperthyroid even though I have to take 2 naps a day!!  I have all the symptoms of hypothyroid with test results that say the exact opposite.

This discussion is related to Very Low TSH normal T4 High T3.

I don't follow the TSH lab anymore and my doctor doesn't consider it a solid test either. She looks more at the free T3 and free t4 levels and compares it to my symptoms

However taking that TSH lab into some consideration - it is pretty low and just because you "think" you are having hypo symptoms, fatigue can be related to both conditions. I'd be more inclined to see you free labs to see if those are within the ranges of being symptom free from either situation. (med induced hyper - or hypo)
