hives, anxiety, energy swings, sleep problems, nausea

I have hashimotos, I'm 27, female. I seem to be on a steady cycle of: 1. break out in hives all over my chest, back and neck followed by 2. Panic and anxiety, frequently with nausea then, 3. Fatigue and drowsiness regardless of the amount of sleep I get. I'm on 100 mcg of syntroid, my TSH is a little over 2. My antibodies were in the thousands on my last blood test. I have a goiter that doesn't interfere with breathing but does seem to go up and down in size.  I work with the public and have to *think* for my job and I cannot function like this. Is there any relief?

Hi just in concern with your thread. I have learned from this forum that you need to have your tsh .5-1 before you feel better. Hashis will make you swing if you don't. I am at 1.16 and still swing but feel a little better. So I would have your blood work done and talk to your doctor about another increase

I no exactly how you feel. Is this the first test you've had done? Or have you been suffering from this for along time? I really hope you can get this all straightened out, its very confusing & frustrating when your body just seems to work against you. Good luck!

I don't know if there is any relief but I feel you...I am 29, female and have hashi's. I do not have hives but I suffer from extreme fatigue and drowsiness. I ache all over. I take 125mcg of Levothyroxine and my last TSH was .34. I haven't had my antibodies checked in a while. I hope you start to feel better soon...I know how stressful this is!
