hyperthyroidism

Is it possible to have a thyroid storm if thyroid was totally removed in 1976 but has grown back

having a low TSH does not indicate for sure - hyperthyroidism.

If I were you I would request getting more tests.

Rerun the Graves TSI levels
Free T3 and Free T4

It sounds like the TSH being low concerns your thoughts you may go thyroid storming. That is not the case necessarily based soley on that TSH reading.

I'm having the ultra sound today.  Graves diease benign reason for removal 1976. Thank you for your interest. I apparently have been over medicated.  my TSH was 0.05  Normal  0.45-4.25    if TSH is low hyper TSH high hypo       have been trying to balance meds for 3 1/2 years.   thanks again

If you are overmedicated also you can bring a storm on also.

Can you share the ultra sound report that indicates your thyroid has grown back and what was the reason for the removal ?

Do you have your latest blood test results (and the range please)?
