I agree, always get your labs and keep them in a file. You have to take the meds daily on a empty stomach is my experience. All the joint problems etc you are describing, I had to and found out that it was because my compounded thyroid meds were not as strong as they were suppose to be so changed meds and trying to get synthroid meds balanced and yet I may have to ad t3 too. But when they accidently gave me too much nature throid not realizing that my compounded was not what it was suppose to be, I went hyper and all aches and pains vanished before I had to stop meds because I realized they were too strong bec of other issues....but at least that told me it was too little thyroid hormones causing all the weakness , plantar fascitus, foot problems top of feet, sore feet, elbows sore, top of arms sore, felt actually like a fragile frail old lady and didn't know why......until the above
I agree with you about the fibro...I think it's a catch all diagnosis and is really hypothyroidism in disguise most of the time.
Were your meds increased after the nurse called you?
If you're in the States, your doctor has to provide you with lab results upon request. Perhaps you could call and ask for them??? Remember to ask for the reference ranges on them as well since reference ranges vary lab to lab and have to come from your own lab report.
I don't get to the doctor like I should due to lack of insurance, however I do remember the nurse calling me after last lab and asked if I had been taking my levo , and i had been. so apparently my levels were a mess. I have not been diagnosed with Hashi's but Fibromyalgia, which I think is just symptoms from thyroid.

Please post your most recent lab results with reference ranges (ranges have to come from your own lab report).
Please list you current symptoms.
Do you know if you have Hashi's?
