What is the treatment for a TSH-3rd generation level of .276L?
If a person has a high eosinophils , a low alkaline [hosphatase and a low TSH-3rd generation is that a sign of overgrowth of parasites in the small intestine? And if so, what is the best treatment for someone whose symptoms include chronic constipation?
The best way to know if you have parasites is to have stool and blood tests done. (Specific testing).
There are many ways to help chronic constipation. Are you getting enough fluids? Have you tried taking Calm (magnesium product) every night before bed? Usually you are ready to go after taking this. How about eating prunes every day?
Treatments for parasites depend upon which ones they are. You can go with prescription medication, or you can do a parasite cleanse which can include a colon cleanse. This will most definately get your colon working! :)
Normal TSH values are .30-3.0, you should have a free t3 and free t4 done at the same time as the tsh to see what is really going on with your thyroid. If anything looks unusual it is a good idea to then have tests done for Hashimoto's and Graves Autoimmune Thyroid disease.
You need to have the free's done with the TSH in order to get a complete look at the thyroid. TSH shows pituitary function not the actual active thyroid hormone in the body as the free's do.
