So you need to see the results for yourself. You need to learn what is a good test result and what is a bad test result.
Then you will know if the doctor is treating you correctly or not. Because in your situation a lot of times the answer is "not".
And the answer to your question "has anyone felt like this" is YES, many of us have felt the same way. You're not going crazy. Your suffering the emotional effects of your hormones being out of balance. You are suffering physically, too.
Hope you get the answers you need and are feeling better soon.
I,m going through the same thing right now. In Oct my TSHPituitary and tsh Tsh was at 56 and I was really depressed and starting to have anxiety that I have never had before. All I wanted to do is cry and I had really bad thoughts. They upped my synthroid dose from 112 to 137 and in a month I went from TSH of 56 to 0.33 and my symptoms got worst. More anxiety and now I'm not sleeping. Very jittery Still want to cry all the time and just feel like I'm never going to be normal again.
The doctors also offered my xanax and Lexapro. The zanax made me walk around in a fog even worst them I was. But I think the Lexapro is helping a bit. My anxiety is worst at night. How about you?
You can be hypothyroid and your test results can come back "within normal limits". Sometimes (often), as long as the test result is not flagged "high" or "low", the doctor will say the results are fine.
