i have a lump

hi guys , ive been underactive for 6 years now and im shamed to say i dont know a lot about it , care is diffrent in uk and they dont do as much as you guys seem to . but heres my problem now - in jan i had to increase my thyroxine from 100mcgs to 200  and i seemed to be less symtomatic than i was but ive developed a lump in my neck, i suppose where you would feel yor pulse almost 1/2 as long as my neck is its tender to touch and i cant stand it to be touched as i feel like im being strangled , would this be thyroid related ???
i did have a fall on sat an jarred my neck and its been stiff since and it seems to have got more noticeable since ,im going to my gp on wed pm about it (we are not under endos unless unstable here ) and would just like to know what i should expect if it is thyroid related .

Don't rush your thoughts - it may not yet need an endo - get the blood tests and the US first.

Take a step at a time.

im seeing my gp on wed , i noticed swelling a few weeks ago but since my fall it seems more noticable and today i noticed if i push it it pops out the other side so it does move . i do deffo think its my thyroid swollen now , i presume us scan and bloods are standard treatment ,i think she will refer to an endo now .what will they do then?

Regardless - you need an ultra sound. whether your GP or an endo does it.

Have you not seen your GP on this? When did you notice the lump?
