increase in meds while pregnant

by 96744mom, Jun 27, 2009 11:52PM
throughout my first pregnancy, my meds were increased several times. 75mcg, 88mcg, 100mcg, 128mcg or something like that. it stayed at 128mcg while I nursed until my son was 1 yr old. then it went down to 88mcg for almost another year then back to 75 mcg. a few months later I was pregnant again! this time there has been no increase in my meds. I'm 8 months pregnant and still on 75 mcg of levothyroid.  is this normal? Is it possible for my thyroid to be so out of whack in one pregnancy and stable in the second? I see my OB on tues. so I will ask him but I just wondered if anyone else had experienced such a thing. thanx!
