Did switching to 50 mcg plus 25 mcg tablets help?
no the doc put me on the 75 micro grams as he worked me up to it i get symptoms like burning and itching and swelling of my palms and hands to the point i cant take my rings off he raised it after he said my thyroid level was off
Yes, each different dose is a different color, and sometimes people are allergic or sensitive to the dyes and other fillers in the tablet.
Was your dose recently raised? If you increase meds too quickly, you can get symptoms similar to the ones you've been having.
Do you take Synthroid or another brand or generic?
i worked up to that dose i called the fda and they told me to take a 25 and a 50 and see how that works they told me i was having reactions from the colring on the 75 micrograms i strated the 50 and 25 today and i feel pretty good right now actually dont feel sick
My husband dealt with hives from Levo. He just after a year of dealing with the hives coming & going just quit the medication all together.
I have been on Levothyroxine for a long time & did not have that issue. Some people just react to it.
How long have you been taking the pill? Did you start at 75 mcg, or did you start at a lower dose and work up to 75 mcg?
Many times doctors say labs are "normal" when the testing was inadequate or the reference ranges used were inappropriate. Did they test anything besides TSH?
all of my labs are comming out normal but im having side eeefects from this pill

Please post any recent thyroid labs you have with reference ranges (they vary lab to lab so have to come from your own lab report).
How long have you been on meds? Did you just start on 75 mcg, or did you work up to that dose?
