levothyroxine doses

I had a total thyroidectomya month ago for 8 nodules both sides, and, isthmus.  Final bx came back neg.  My numbers were too low.  I was put on levothyroxine l25 mcg.  Went badk in a month and the numbers were even lower.  They put me on 100 mcg Can anyone explain whhy , when the body seems to be crying out for more thyroid, as in the low levels at first, they put me on a LOWER dose when they discovered the levels were even lower.  I am crying over the least little thing, even though I have antdepressant.  I am ready to throw dishes and slam doors. My hairs is s haystack I go back
april  5 for another blood draw.....It seens logical o think higher doses for lower levels so please explain how this thing works.  Msry

Depends on what numbers were lower.

If your TSH is too low, then you were getting too much medication.

TSH goes up, T4/T3 are too low.
TSH goes down, T4/T3 are too high.

Does that make sense?
