levoxyl after radioactive iodine treatment

I had radioactive iodine treatment due to graves disease and extreme hyperthyroidism (8 times too high for over a year) which totally killed off my thyroid.  was already hypothyroid after three weeks.  been on levoxyl 100mcg for 1 month.  i weigh 135lbs and have celiacs.  i still feel hypo and have all the symptoms...my primary care and others in the medical community tell me the dose my endocrinologist put me on (100mcg) is not enough.  what is the correct dose in your opinion..

Always a good idea to get a copy of lab reports and make notes on there as to how you were feeling at the time and also what meds/supplements you were taking, and how much of each.  These can be very valuable as future references.

When you get the lab report, if you will post results and reference ranges then members will be glad to help interpret and advise further.

Would it be possible to get a copy of the lab report?    If not, would they give you the results by phone?  It would be good to know your test results and what they indicate, before having your next appointment.  Believe me you will be better prepared and know the right questions to ask.

The lab report prior to me starting the hormone is unfortunately at my endocrinologist's.  I am not due for labs for 2 more weeks.

The correct dose is always that amount of T4 and/or T3 medication required to relieve hypo symptoms.  Symptom relief should be all important, not test results, or dosage of meds.  If you will post your thyroid test results and reference ranges shown on the lab report, members will be better able to assess the adequacy of testing and treatment.
