link between petuitary tumors and hashimotos?

Anyone know or ever heard of a link between petuitary tumors and hashimotos?I have both and am looking for a reason for the tumors.Thanks

Look under secondary hypothyriodism or central hypothyriodism.  The tumor is cause the hypothyriodism.  The tumor is affectting your hormone levels.  I don't know that much , just from what I read.  I have a very low normal ft4 (.81, with 0.8 beng the low end of my scale) and a normal to low tsh level.  Dr was looking into the samething.  Goodluck.
