I have alwasy taken good care of my teeth and to have them fall apart like this just breaks my heart. I know there are worse things in the world and so many of you are going through such trying times.

Have got the same thing going on with my teeth, so I completely understand!  It is the last thing I thought would go wrong with me and the only decent looking thing about me.  Hang in there.

Venora, so sorry to hear about what you're going through. Two suggestions: 1.) if there is a dental school in your area, you may want to contact them to see if they do "dental clinics" (e.g. where dentists in training work under licensed dentists at discounted fees) , perhaps they can get you in and/or they may be able to tell you of dentists who do pro bono work 2.) (and I know that this is going to sound a little crazy....) try contacting University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center Blood and Bone Marrow Transplant Program (I think they are still doing bone marrow transplants there) and speaking with one of their social workers. Ask him/her if they know of any dentists that do pro bono work or will work with you as far as setting up a payment plan. Bone marrow transplant patients are required to undergo extensive, thorough dental exams and dental work prior to being able to receive a transplant. I can guarantee you that if there is anyone in your area doing pro bono work, the social worker at the bone marrow transplant program will be able to tell you as they deal with people with little to no insurance coverage almost on a daily basis. They are the experts at how to make things happen with little to no resources. Good luck and God bless......

I can't answer about the rai, sorry.  Just wanted to say that raelly stinks!!!  Maybe it won't cost too much. I know my dentist will work with his patients if they don't have insurance- actually he charges less and takes payments. maybe yours will do the same?

  God bless-
