lump just above thyroid

Can someone help me with finding my thyroid gland..I found a pea size movable lump on what I thought was my thyroid but my doctor said it was just above my thyroid. Does anyone know what part of the throat this is?

i have a 2 to 3 cm lump above my thyroid glande and the doctors doesent no what it is any suggestions I have had it more than 4 weeks now

There is something above my thyroid that when I push on one side it moves and I can feel it on the opposite side of my throat

What did the doc say???? there are no major glands above the thyroid gland that i know of. This could be a lymph node being that it's movable.
