Thank you for the kind words. It helps a lot to know others have been through the same thing. I have never had surgery of any kind before, that is why I am a little nervous. If however, it makes me feel better it will be worth it. It has been a long time since I have felt like myself !!!
Thanks again....
Hi and welcome. Try not to be scared....I know easier said than done. But the good news is that they will remove the nodule and probably part of the thyroid. If they find cancer, then they usually remove the entire gland. Thyroid cancer is one of the easiest cancers to cure. In your case it is probably due to hashimoto's.......I have had a biopsy done on my nodules and thyroid.....I had an easy time of it and a great doctor who did it. I wish my dr would have suggested removing that side of my thyroid.
In conclusion....lol.....try not to get yourself worked up and know there are many here who have gone through it and will be here for you! :)
