Hi.
I was on 50 mcg Synthroid for 6 weeks and I felt better, but not completely. 2 weeks later (8 weeks) and I was almost great. 2 more weeks and another symptom has seemingly resolved. Give it at least 8 weeks on a certain dose and maybe longer.
Hang in there.

it just seems to take so long and after a while you just want to scream. Ok i am done yelling your turn. i will just wait... for another couple of weeks and see.

If it helps any, I had my bloodwork done today, and my TSH is 47.35.

I'm hoping to start back on my Synthroid tomorrow.
I feel like total doo-doo.

Misery loves company??

I guess I would starve as a comedien. :(

How long were you on the dosage of 75mcg?

It can take six weeks for a med change to reach it's full potential. It may or may not take that long for your TSH to drop closer to one.

The symptoms will hang on a while after your TSH drops.

Patience is a virtue. :)

I know it's not funny, and it's not good news, but it is going to take a while.

Sorry.

Hope you feel a bit better very soon.
