menstrual cycle and hypothyroid

can anyone tell me if they experience thyroid fluctuations throughout their menstrual cycles?

i'm on 112 mcg of synthroid for hypothyroidism from silent thyroiditis.  i'm 30 and have a 28 day cycle.  it's like clockwork.  there's no variation.  i'm not on any birth control, so everything in that regard is my natural body hormones.  from the first day of my last period to ovulation, i get worsening hypothyroid symptoms.  right now i'm at day 12 of my cycle and i can barely breathe.  i'm constantly gasping for air and i feel horrible and tired.  however, from ovulation to the first day of my period, i start to feel better.  when i get my period, i actually get heart palpitations and feel like i'm hyperthyroid.

i asked dr lupo if menstrual cycles effect the thyroid, and he didn't really think there was much effect.  so i feel like i'm imagining things.  help!

I haven't noticed thyroid fluctuations due to my menses.  But there your thyroid has an effect on your cycles.  When my levels are out of whack my periods are all off.  But I haven't noticed a defference in my levels while on my period, just the other way around.
