Hello everyone,
I have suffered from migraine headaches from the time I was 9 years old...when I was 12 and began my period my migraines and period systems became really bad. I am now 43 and still suffer from migraines. I have been on synthroid for 3 years now (2 children later). I am not sure if anyone ever checked my thyroid back then. My iron levels are really low and I am taking an iron suppliment..the problem I was facing I didn't know you couldn't take iron, vitamins and calcium within 4 hours of medication. I was maybe taking suppliments 1 hour to 2 hours after. Since following the rule of 4 hours later, I haven't had a migraine in 14 days...and that truly is a miracle.
I am wondering if it's because my thyroid medication wasn't working with all the suppliments added. I am still struggling to get my iron levels up, my periods are so heavy so I can imagine there is a lot of loss involved.
