I have had muscle twitches from being hypothyroid. They seem to be diminishing as I increase my dose toward a more normal TSH.
Did yours start after you began Synthroid? Or were they a symptom?

I get muscle twitches almost every day.  I'm been on levothyroxine for about a year now.  MY dosage for cancer suppression, so I'm technically hyperthyroid.  I get them in my lip area and upper leg, lower buttisimo area.  Wonder if I can go to Vegas in get in a show with this act!!!

It could be the thyroid. Muscle twitching can  be a sign of many things though, including thyroid, fibromyalgia, CFS, neurological problems and stress.
