Thank you so much for the reply. yesterday i visited the doc again. you were right he has given me FT4 and TSH tests again. though i will try to get the FT3 as well. i am living in Pakistan now-a-days. For fever he has asked me to maintain the temp chart and visit him again. he has also asked me to get abdomenal ultra sound done. Thanks again

If you are in the US, your lab is using an outdated range for TSH -- but at any rate your TSH is high, which could indicate hypothyroidism.  You need to get your Free T3 and Free T4 tested, as the totals don't really tell anything specific.

I agree with Sally, that you might benefit from a low dose of thyroid meds, but sure would like to see Free T results first.

Hello,

your TSH would indicate that you are becoming hypothyroid.

You need to Test FT3 and FT4 next time, which are the bioavailable hormones, not the total which doesn't reflect what's going on so well.  Anyway your T3 is on the lower side and your T4 is middle range.  This doesn't contradict that you may be hypo.

What has your dr said.  I would hope he would start you on a low dose of thyroid meds and monitor in 4 -6 weeks (assuming he has ruled out any other problems - fever is not normally a part of being hypothyroid).
