Is that T4 a "free" or "total"?  Are you currently on thyroid medication?  If so, what med/dosage?

What if, any, symptoms do you have?

Thank you very  much for the prompt reply. My t4 value is 6.580 NV 0.932-    1.71
   TSH is 1.42  NV .270  - 4.20
I have a nodule that is about 1 cm.

I would not be too concerned about TSH, as it is not a thyroid hormone, Free T4 and Free T3 and your symptoms are what should be used as a guide by your MD as far as medication and dosage. If you have these levels and the refference ranges for each, you can post them here for member comments and advice. Tinnitus is a symptom that some thyroid sufferers have. Welcome to the forum and good luck. FTB4
