3 to 4 weeks ago i found out that i have hypothyroidism. during those last few weeks i have been experiencing alot of adominal pain and left side chest pain and also around the ribs are these syptoms connected to hypothyroidism.

I have hyperthyriodism and have been experiencing pain in the right side of my ribs and is quote painful and hard to catch my breath for a few minutes after.  My next hospital appointment is in 4weeks so i will ask then.

Hi, I sometimes get rib pain, it just comes on out of nowhere for a day or two, like there's a trapped nerve, making it so painful to breathe and then disappears for a few months. It's weird. It only started happening since I started with thyroid problems, so I just feel somewhere along the line theres a link here. But when I ask the Docs they look at me like I'm mad! But then they do that all the time here in the UK! So anyway, glad you asked this question, I'll be watching for answers too!

You should call your doctor.

Hypothyroidism can certainly case aches and pains all over, but your doctor can best advise you on this.
