The total t3 and t4 tests are outdated and no longer used. You should have free t3 and free t4 with your tsh run. Then you will get a good overall picture of what is going on. Your doctor must not be well versed on thyroid. Gently tell dr you want these tests done...these are the tests that endos use. Normal means nothing....if your free t3 level is low normal, then you need more. If your free t4 is high normal you might not be converting proplerly....just examples of needing to look at the whole picture and normals still need to be looked at properly. Your thyroid may still be your fatigue problem.
I just wonder if i still feel fatigued and everything is in the normal ranges maybe not enough t4 is being converted.
total t3 and t4 are good. but it is possible not enough free t3 exist.
