true !! don't know who to believe? doctors say they don't make any money(yea Right) insurance says costs are out of control(BUT THEY ARE SUPER PROFITABLE) I don't know? little guy gets caught in the middle.

Try being self employed. Until recently, my husband and I have been paying close to $700 a month for insurance that came with a $13k deductible...translation we paid $700 per month AND we also had the pleasure of paying all our medical expenses out of pocket. Neither of us ever met our deductible...not complaining. We got 6 doctor visits a year with a copay ($25 PCP / $75 specialist), and that was the only benefit we ever got. That went on for close to 20 years.
The system's a mess, and we can't get out of our own way to fix it.

on my new insurance, specialist are not covered er visit are a 2 thousand dollar deductible! labs not covered until you reach a $2500 dollar deductible and I work for a major corporation . changed all this this year .. corporate greed is amazing in this country but they post record profits. no more unions to stand up to these guys. its all over . till one of their kids gets sick then it's a different story. they want you to save more out of your paycheck tp pay for doctors visits . then what the @@ is insurance for?
Can't afford not to... I pay all of 10 bucks for mine after insurance company adjustment.
nothing covered under insurance anymore including labs endo visits. about 500 out of pocket. America survival of the wealthy
