hi i'm a hypothyroid patient and fairly new to this so just have a few questions if you dont mind?
Had antibodies blood test done (only TPO antiobody test performed though) and was told by my GP that these were negative-the level was 25...just wondered if you are meant to have any antibodies at all or if low levels are acceptable as i wondered if i have hashimotos as i have an enlarged thyroid and several symptoms that dont correspond to hypothyroidism?eg. raised temperature, sweating, increased heart beat and occasional palpitations? if im not hashimotos then why is this?
Also have heard of hashitoxicosis and if this is me then what is the treatment for it?
any advice greatly appreciated
