I am 39 yrs old and have been fighting with my dr to find out what is wrong with me for three yrs . my wt has slowly been going up ( 15 LBS ) even tho i exercise and eat right , i am so puffy and tired and i feel like im going crazy with my moods !! my gyno found the lumps in my neck ( heavy periods ) and my gp said no worries its normal . now the lumps have grown my sonogram say the gland is diffusley abnormal , the right lobe is enlarged 7.0x2.7x2.3 cm in dia. multilple solid masses , the largest 2.0x1.6 cm in dia . the left lobe is 6.6x2.6x2.2 cm in dia with multiple solid masses the largest 3.2x2.0x2.2 cm in dia vascular flow . went for nuc scan 2 cold nodules . now i have had a fna and my dr receptionist said its not cancer but follow up with endo . still havent heard from him test done june 25 . my bro had thyroid cancer now removed . blood work a little low but normal range . i was taking wt loss pills that had kelp dr asked me to stop taking everything . i am so tired of waiting, i am getting more depressed as the days go by . crying while writing this to be honest nobody i know seems to understand HELP!!!!
