normal thyroid and hormone levels but still have symtoms

My sister had thyroid cancer, niece has goiter, aunt died of throat cancer and brother has throat cancer.  I just had blood work because suddenly in June I developed a temple pressure headache.  The doctor put me on 25 mg of topamax and I had already been on Prozax 20 mg for 12 years.  My eyes, nose, and everything else is dry to the point of I had to rush to the eye doctor (had extremely dry eye), nose sores that bleed, and now my hair is falling out.  The doctor did hormone and thyroid test and just called they are normal.  He put me on biotin for a month.  Should I stop the topamax or go further with blood work since my family has problems.  He said the biotin and a multivitamin should help but I have mood swings, constaption, headaches...just don't know?  Any ideas.  Thanks

Can you post your "normal " lab values? Your symptoms can be from a subclinical hypothyroidism ....., What about thyroid antibodies? (TPO and anti-Tg)? There is an autoimmune disease called Sjögren's syndrome in which immune cells attack and destroy the exocrine glands that produce tears and saliva. Low vitamins can be responsible for dry eys too.....
About your headache, that include things like allergy headache and sinus headache (from sinusitis), also can be thyrroid related.......

About throat cancer, yes you should always keep that in mind, so don't smoke (if you smoke) got a link about it:

I'd like to see what your actual test levels were and if you had and Tgab testing since you have a family history.
