What dose of synthroid are you on? Make sure to retest in 6 weeks.
I had anxiety/insomnia/depression when my TSH went from 3.8 to 6 in 1 month during the summer.
No more anxiety now that my TSH is under 2. I thought my thyroid was a problem since it was in the upper end of the normal range for several years prior to my diagnosis. I would have gladly taken a low dose of synthroid to prevent what I went through this summer. Luckily, the endo diagnosed my Hashimoto's and said it has been going on for a while.
Anxiety/panic can be symptoms, even in subclinical hypothyroidism.
Hope this helps in your decision.
