Does eating oatmeal to lower my cholesterol interfere with thyroid medicines?

No - just remember to take your thyroid meds at least 2 hours before you eat or take anything with calcium in it (like milk) to prevent "binding" of the thyroid hormones.

The secret is to stay on a set schedule.  If you take your thyroid meds with coffee in the morning then make sure you do it every morning so the meds can be adjusted for that.

Make sense?
