optimal dose

I originally had a tsh  4.9.  Got on synthroid and a hypertensive med.  I have had every test imaginable CAT scan blood work for hepititis.  Question what is the best dose ofr a 4.9 tsh.  On the synthroid it got down to .9  but I have been swelling everywhere Sides of neck and lower wrist knee had slight ANA positive 12.9  I think it was last at 12.5  12 is the cutoff for normal have been to rheum endo and internist now they want to aspirate the neck area to see what the fluid is.  It was ok on ultrasound the thyroid.  thanks stephanie

Meant to say optimal dose for armour can't take the synthroid anymore my legs and arms were arthritic but tested negative for RA and lupus   steph
