pituitary hypothyroidism?

by Lou1986, Jan 14, 2008 08:06PM
Does pituitary hypothyroidism seem like the problem when TSH is .151 and T4 is 1.20? I cannot seem to get my T4 down, but my TSH is at the recommended level per my endocrinologist. Low TSH and low T4 together are the problems.

Are the problems of what?
Depends on how your FT-3 relates to the other two test.  Could be pituitary, adrenal fatigue, or other problems such as allergies, hormonal imbalance, yeast, etc.
Why do you want to bring down your FT-4?
Seems to me your FT-4 is already on the low end and you wouldn't want it too much  lower.
