please help dizzy

my post is gone  i was asking is dizziness a symptom of hypo   i was just put on synthroid my tsh is nine   have been so dizzy   please help did anyone ever hear that dizziness is a symptom?

Dizziness can be a hypo symptom.  Were you dizzy before staring the Synthroid?

Yes and it can be sooo annoying.  I was hyperthyroid, now hypo and the first symptom was dizziness. It is pretty constant, with waves of dizziness pretty much all day. Haven't started taking Synthroid yet cause doc wanted one more blood test which I just had today. He already gave me the script but told me not to fill it til we get the test results. I can't tell you how soon the dizziness goes away once you start meds. Does anyone know?  I would like to know too cause the dizziness is awful.

I actually have been having dizziness and wondered if it was hypo issues, but it apparently is not related to thyroid in my case.  I went to a Ear and balance center and was found to have inner ear hypersensitivity probably from a viral inner ear infection I never knew I had.  I am now on a meds for three months, promethazine, to help suppress the hyper response I have...kind of like everytime I move is like getting off of a rollercoaster...I just thought I would share this info and perhaps you could see a doc like this help determine what is going on with you.
