Hi,

you need to let your doctor know how bad you're feeling.  They need to test your thyroid and calcium levels.

Let us know how you go.

I Also had lobeectomy.  They did  leave my parathyroid glands and I had no trouble.  I am not a Dr. but it sounds like the sickness might be from anesthesia but the hot flashes and numbness in hands sounds like calcium.  I have to remove right lobe today after they found cancer in the left.  I know all of this is no fun.   Stay strong and make your Dr. listen.  I wish you well.

thank you Super_sally888 and Twinmom0403. the hospital tested my calcium and said it was just slightly low, they gave me 3 dozes of calcium the next day and never tested my blood again. they said i was fine to go home and didnt need any calcium medication. i dnt understand how they could have been certain that my calcuim levels were fine.

the register for my surgon said that they left my parathyroid glands. they have yet to test my thyroid, they said the test for this will be done on my follow up appointment which i am still waiting for! i dnt understand why they make you wait and then do the test?
