hi I recently go my doctor to switch my thyroid meds from 75mcg of levo to synthetic thyroid..I don't know much about the new med. The only reason I decided to switch was becasue I could not do anything...sleep, get out of bed, think straight, etc. I was not able to function on the levo..I have now been taking the synthetic thyroid for 2 and a half weeks..I have noticed that I am able to do pretty much everything again.. I am able to sleep, my joints don't hurt like they use to. I would like to know more from people that are taking it. One thing I have noticed that I don't like about the meds, is that I tend to crash around the same time every night. My eyes feel as though they are about to pop put of my headHead and face reconstruction Head injury Head lice Indications of head injury Radial head injury. They hurt so bad. But only at night. Someone tell me more about this med. and are there other things I should watch for while taking this med. Thanks for the comments.
The Levo you were on is a synthetic medication. What were you swtich to = Synthroid?
If so, then you probably were moved from a generic synthetic thyroid medication to a name brand synthetic thyroid medication, which for some give more stability for some. Either way you have not been switched and you are on a T4T4 test only synthetic form of thyroid replacement. Only difference is the generic form is now name brand formula.
If you are feeling pressurePressure ulcer in your eyes - you want to review your labs with your doctor. You may be hyperHyper-sal induced from the amount of meds you are on now.
No I was on levo..I have been hypo since I was 16..I am not on synthroid. I am on something that has to do with the pig thyroid. I have hard many people on medhelp talk about this medicine so I decided to switch.
