reddish color in hair

I take armour, have goiter. I have taken thyroid meds for over 20 years.  I went to bed with gray hair and woke with reddish/copper-ish color in hair along forehead and some on sides.  Has anyone out there had such a thing from having thyroid problems..too much or too little activity in thyroid?  thanks

thanks for input, hair was originally blond, darkened with age, turned gray, no highlights, no dyes, no rinses, nada!  the iodine makes sense as I was given armour to feed iodine into thyroid...

If you are taking any iodine - this could contribute to the hair color.

Was this your natural color before your thyroid issues? If you have red highlights naturally or a strawberry/red coloring - geting thyroid optimal can change it back some.

Hi,

My hair has never taken the same to color processing as pre-Synthroid.  It's take a long time to rework my process to get it to come out and stay right.  So I don't know, but wanted to share.
