I know a couple of people who opted to only have half of the thyroid removed only to have the other have removed later. I have an enlargedEnlarged adenoids Enlarged prostate thyroid with nodules on both sides. One side is much larger then the other. Once the nodules or lobe become to big, I will opt to have the whole thing removed at one time. Being cutCuts and puncture wounds open twiceTwice-a-day is not something I want to do. I can't help you with the pregnacy question sorry.
