results of my biopsy

I went to the doctor yesterday for the results of my thyroid biopsy.  The doctor said there was no maglient cells, which is a good thing, my TSH is in the normal range .7. But I'm still having  a hard time swallowing and intermitten double vision (diplopia).  I have been to MSU to a neuro-opth. and he said that I have very dry eyes and told me that my thyroid maybe causing the double vision.  I have been dealing with the double vision for about a little over a year, and that is about the time I found out about the multi-nodule goiter.  I so frustrated, I don't know what else to do?  What could be causing the double vision? I have had MRI, CT, blood work and nothing?  I'm starting to think I'm crazy.  If someone has any suggestion, please, please help!!!!

Thanks

I am by NO means a thyroid expert. All my trouble has been recent but nodules (or even a slightly enlarged thyroid) can DEFINITELY cause trouble swallowing. I guess it's VERY common with a goiter.  The double vision....if your goiter is big enough or pressing on the wrong things who knows what is being compressed in there.  I had a 4.7 nodule for over 15 years. It finally got big enough to cause compression symptoms so I had it out. It was COMPLETELY benign and the surgery was very easy as far as surgeries go.
My thyroid blood tests and levels were ALWAYS normal so just because yours are doesn't mean it isn't the problem. I can't really comment on dry eyes but the thyroid controls so much in your body, who knows?  The good news is...thyroid trouble is almost never deadly.  You just need to find a good doctor who understands and will listen to you. Good Luck

I have never heard of this? What is normal for thyroid antibodies? Is this something that was checked during my biopsy?  Can the uptake check for the anitbodies?

Thanks,
