sore throat?

forgot a detail that might help. . . I'm 2 wks post op for lobecemy. . . the scar looks fine and dr. I was healing fine when I saw him last week. . .

I know there are others who have had similar problems. . . just curious how long people had a sore throat after surgery. . .

Mine was getting better but has started to hurt again in the last couple of days.

Any advice?

They say a sore throat from the tube used for being "put out" can sometimes hurt more than the surgery ????

that's what they told me...plus the fact that you have your muscles "retracted" during the surgeries and they have to go back in place...rough description...

I am 2 weeks post op for TT and my throat is sore...even to the point of swallowing anything solid or liquid.  I feel like my neck is too weak to support my head.  I have been using a u-shaped pillow to support my neck somewhat.

I was chewing some bubble gum last night...and my jaw, neck and throat are muscular sore...wonder if it is related?
