sore throat

I am two months (give or take a day or two) post op from thyroid surgery.  My throat is still sore and I am unable to drink coffee and carbonated drinks. Is this normal?

NO, contact your primary physician immediately. An x-ray and/or ultrasound are in order to check on what has happened post op to cause such a long recovery time.

No this is not normal. Before I even knew I had a thyroid issue my throat was extremely sore. I mean to the point where I had difficulties swallowing. That next day I went to the doctor and was diagnosed with hyperthyroidism----> had the surgery and now I have hypothroidism which still *****! I hope you feel better keep us posted.
